Servant Leaders

Servanthood form of leadership is the strongest style of leadership on the planet. A servant leader always leaves a deep and lasting impact on the ones he is leading. To be a servant leader requires a lot of gut and determination on the part of the leader. Its like fighting the law of gravity.
A servant leader does not derive his power and strength from his position but rather from his inward sense of identity. He operates from a paradigm of empowerment, equalization and his personhood. A servant leader inspires fierce loyalty and commitment from his followers.
Its one thing to know, mentally accept servant leadership as an ideal style of leadership but unless we can internalize it and practice it, its just a concept or a model.
You cannot live like a king waiting to be served at home ( or shout at a waiter/ security guards/the cashier/the receptionist) and expect to operate like a servant in the office. Its a mentality and its a lifestyle that has to be displayed both at home, community and our offices.
