So WHAT DOES IT REALLY TAKE to create a transformation?

IT TAKES THE PROCESS OF:
For transformation to kickstart first there is a need for an AWAKENING/AWARENESS in the leadership that there is a NEED to leave the present state and transition to the next phase of evolutions. Oneness and commitment from the leadership team that we will do whatever it takes to fulfill this mission.

Secondly there is a need to mapped out the areas of the organisation that need transformation. Proper assessment and surveys need to be carried out both from internal and external experts to study the areas where the "lift has to take off".

3rdly once the areas are mapped out, gather the tools, the resources, the experts who would help the organisation to make that shift. Depending on the size of the organisation, planning can be done, delegated by vertical heads, functional heads, frontline supervisors so that there is none left out who is not aware of the leadership's goal, objective and the expectation set on them.

4thly, Transformation needs project managers to see the implementation of the initiatives and monitor the progress. Transformation needs could be in the area of upgrading, cost cutting, more R&D or improving the efficiencies and effectiveness of the IT, Finance,Marketing,CRM, HR,Operation Depts etc.

FIRST THING FIRST:
However, if transformation has to begin on an organisational level, it needs to FIRST make sure that transformation begin in the "internalizing of the organisation's values, vision and mission" without which sustaining change would be next to impossibility. Appraisal system has to be improvised to make sure it assess employees in the areas of their consistent display of the organisational values. The process will be easier to implement when the people who are engaged in the process are values and mission driven.
